Welcome to Kirkely bed and breakfast
From your very arrival you will be warmly and heartfelt welcomed.
All through the establishing of my bed and breakfast, 2 words have been my guideline. It must be pleasant and cosy, so that you feel yourself at home right away. You are on vacation and that is where your focus should be.
All three rooms have a pleasant size, with a nice atmosphere, beautiful colours, small creative details, and are equipped with clean bed linen af best quality concerning allergy risk. All beds are Continental, in which you will feel well, athough you are not at home.
The rooms are named after towns on Lolland and Falster, and they all have a beautiful view over the surrounding fields, and in the far distance you even have a glimpse of the Baltic Sea.
The first room is, Nysted, with a double bed, 180x200, a wardrobe, mirror and a cosy corner with a sofa.
The second room is called, Maribo, in which you find 2 single beds, 90x200. There 2 armchairs, a table, a mirror and a wardrobe. It is possible to put the 2 beds together to make a double bed.
At the very end of the corridor you find the bigger room, Nakskov. Here are 50 square metres and in addition to that, you can exit the room and find yourself on an 40 square metres big newly renovated roof terrace. From here there is an all round view, that will stimulate your eye as well as your soul. In this room you also find a double bed, 180x200, a corner with a dining table, a mirror, a fire place, wardrobe, a corner with a sofa. This sofa can be made a sleeping couch. This room is for 2 who want some space or a family of 4.
The whole floor can be booked as one unit.
All rooms are equipped with Smart-Tvs with built in chrome-cast. Remember your TV codes. But you probably will not have time to spend in front of a screen, as there are so many things to experience on both Lolland and Falster.
I will gladly hellp you with suggestions for experiences. I am not myself originally from Lolland but it is an honour for me to study this new part of the country, so that you can benefit from it. In addition for me, it is really interesting to learn more about my own country, by visting the many attractions, that are offered.
You are very welcome to spend time in my garden. You will find cosy corners, where you may enyoy your meals or just have something to drink. I do, of course sell local drinks.
You might prepare a meal in the small common kitchen, where you find all you need. If one special thing is "missing", please ask me, for I myself also live in the house. In my In additional small shop you can buy a small variety of tinned goods and pasta. I freely offer Nescafe, tea, milk for the coffee, sugar, a few spices, flour and oil. You also don't have to worry abour a cloth for the table or a tea towel.
In the common toilet/bath, I offer shampoo, créme, sanitary towels, hair dryer and plaster.
On Lolland and Falster you truly find may good restaurants. We also have one of Denmark's best butchers, and I have made a deal with him, that makes it possible for you to order the of the day, tapas or a Danish open sandwich (Smørrebrød) through me. But you must do it beforehand.
If you spend your holiday on bicycles or you are hiking, you might order a homemade delicious vegetarian meal. It costs extra, and you have to order in advance.
My nice breakfast is a picked selection of freshly baked buns, cheese, homemade jams, fresh fruit, eggs, something sweet, coffee and/or tea, juice and yoghurt with toppings.
Bed linen and hand towels are included in the price.
Unfurtunately your pets are not welcome.
Be welcomed, dear guests. I will be looking forward to greeting you and I wish you all a pleasant stay at my place on the lovely Island Of Lolland.
Best wishes
Jeanne
