Welcome to an adventurous one day bus tour to Sprogø and a guided town walk in Nyborg - The heart of Denmark.
Sprogø is a unique and protected island with a rich birdlife. The island has historically played a central role in the history of Denmark. Valdemar's Castle was built on Sprogø as a part of its defense against the Wends. Today it functions as a transport corridor through the Great Belt Link. In addition - back in the days - the Danish government used Sprogø as a sort of prison for frivolous and dissolute girls and women and thereby keeping them seperate and isolated from the rest of the population.
You will not only see the island Sprogø but also the town Nyborg. The package includes a town walk in Nyborg as well. The entire tour lasts approximately 4 1/2 hours and takes place by bus and on foot. There is a guide with you all the way.
A cozy family hotel, centrally located in Nyborg, close to the harbor and town life. In this package you stay in a double room including a delicious breakfast from the hotel kitchen.
