Villa Gertrud

Villa Gertrud is located on the portarea, only a stone's throw from Kolding's largest attractions. Here you will live in the vicinity of the city with the pedestrian streets as close neighbors. The area is a flourishing center of study and economy. Video guarded parking within 150 m.

The building was built in 1927 and served in many years as a seaman's home. The spirit has been preserved, and today Villa Gertrud is decorated with a touch of modern life and a personal presence. All rooms are bright and individually decorated. For example you can stay in 'Flower Power Room' or in 'Harmony of view'. - All rooms with TV, Wi-Fi and a kettle. 8 of the 10 rooms have a private bathroom.

Different needs from individual visitors are met. From hikers or business travelers, in need of bed and breakfast, to the family, whose teenagers would like to be a little to themselves and able to close the door to an own private bedroom. 

Our family apartment is suitable for familys or couples for a weekend, a few days or a single night. In this apartment you will find dining table and a separate kitchen with fridge.

Around the house there are cozy corners, inviting you to sit down, relax or have a little chat while the children are plying board games or making a drawing.

A charming community kitchen is availible and you have the opportunity to dine on the southwest-facing terrace or even use the barbecue. On a sunny day you will be able to feel the 'pulse' of the area and the nice backyard atmosphere. Would you prefer to dine out - a well-attended  harbor-restaurant is only 2 minutes of walking from Villa Gertrud. In addition, the city offers many different restaurants only 6 minuts away.

the natural landscape around Kolding is ideal for cycling and hikes. Ask the hostess for ideel trips in the area - she knows the best tracks and the cultural offers. Villa Gertrud provides the opportunity for guests to rent bicycles. Visitors who arrives on bikes, has access to a light service-inspection of the bikes, drying of clothes and storage of bikes.
