Our small farm was built in 1905 and has 10 acres of land, spread with a little meadow and farmland. We bought Holmehuset in 1978 and has since rebuilt, so we can accommodate overnight guests. Holmehuset is not bothered by drive through traffic. And as the meadows adjacent to the protected area by Saltbæk Vig, and when Forest and Nature Agency has implemented afforestation around us, we have an incredibly rich wildlife outside our windows.
If you need peace and quiet or like the many opportunities for walking over fields and meadows, through forests and along lakes and ponds, then Holmehuset is the site.
We offer accommodation and stay in our 6 bright, newly decorated rooms - 3 single rooms with shared toilet and shower. All rooms are on the ground floor.
There is access to tea-coffee kitchen and in the undisturbed living room it is possible to relax in the evening or watch television. If the weather permits, it is obvious to reside to our secluded terrace, enjoy evening coffee or a glass of wine, while the small bond fire creates warmth and assembly.
Unfortunately we can not accept dogs and other pets, since we have a both an honest and good-natured Newfoundland and a cat.
The rooms are smoke-free, but are you smoking, we will find a suitable place for you.
Holmehuset offers privacy, peace and quiet, good service, beautiful scenery, cozy terrace and walks.
