Kjobing Manor

Collette, Søndergade 18, 5970 Ærøskøbing

You will find this charming manor house from the seventeenth century by Torvet in Ærøskøbing, which has received the prestigious Europa Nostra conservation prize.

The house's rooms underwent an extensive renovation in 2017/2018 with respect for the rooms' original expression. Two of the rooms have their own toilet and shower en suite and one - or three if desired - have access to private shower and toilet on the other side of the hallway.

The rooms are individually decorated with selected works of art and have a view of either Ærøskøbing's square or the protected, cobbled backyard encased by a newly renovated courtyard from the 18th century.

The guests share two common living rooms that show a selection of portraits made by my father-in-law, the artist Sven Havsteen-Mikkelsen. As well as a shared kitchen where you can prepare breakfast or light snacks.

The historic setting and the relaxed atmosphere provide obvious opportunities to celebrate weddings. A reception can be held for about 30 guests. There is room for 16 overnight guests by appointment.
