A cozy, old whitewashed farmhouse in quiet and peaceful surroundings. We have an idyllic cobbled yard area, a large and beautiful garden facing south with several seating arrangements for guests to use.
We rent two older - but charming - rooms. The rooms have shared access to our new bathroom with shower. At Birkekjærgaard you can both get served breakfast, lunch or have a good home-cooked evening meal. It has to be ordered before arrival.
The farm is peacefully situated close to 3 small lakes and a little forest. There are only 3 km to a great sandy beach and "Gribskovene" woods. There are only a few kilometers to Gilleleje, there is a good commercial town, with plenty of opportunities for shopping. Gilleleje has both a fishing port and a marina with high activity in both summer and winter.
